Char Allen - Apple Pie & Dessert Bake-Off
Char has been involved with the Festival since her 2 years as a Royalty Chaperone in 2001 & 2002; helping and volunteering at various events and co-chairing the very successful Cookbook fundraiser. This year, she is again co-chairing the Apple Pie Bake-Off & Cookbook. She & her husband John reside in East Wenatchee and have 3 grown children.
Kelly Atwood - Arts & Crafts Fair
Kelly has been involved with the Festival for over 15 years, serving on the Youth Day, Entertainment, and Pageant committee. She has been chairing the Arts & Crafts Fair for over 10 years. The Atwood Family has been a part of so many facets of the Festival from performing at Entertainment in the Park and on the Pageant stage to competing against each other in the Pie Eating Contest. Kelly is the payroll manager for Atwood Orchards and is also employed at Material Things specializing in Sales, Design & Fabrication. Kelly is also actively involved with the Wenatchee Schools All-District Musical and is the director of Short Shakespeareans. She and Paul have three children and live in Wenatchee.
Bryan Campbell - Applarian Chancellor
Bryan is the Designated Broker/Owner of Pro Active Real Estate and CEO of Pro Active Business Solutions. He was born and raised in Wenatchee and graduated from Wenatchee High School, Wenatchee Valley College, University of Washington and the Pacific Coast Banking School. After a fulfilling banking career, Bryan went into business for himself and dedicated much of his time to community service and being a public servant. He was on the Wenatchee City Council for 4 years and is currently the Director of Legislative Affairs for the North Central Washington Association of Realtors. Apple Blossom has always been a special time for Bryan and he’s attended most of the Grand Parades since the 1960’s. Bryan joined the Applarians in 2006 and has been active in community service organizations including Rotary, Wenatchee Police Reserves, One Wenatchee group, Chelan County Fire District #1, United Neighborhood Association, Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, Mobile Meals, and Wenatchee Valley Misawa Sister City Association. Bryan and his wife Jody love spending time with their 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Kathy Campbell - Jr. Royalty Chaperone
Kathy’s involvement with the Apple Blossom Festival began in the 70’s when she was in the Top 10. She has also participated in many Grand Parades since that time, as coach of the WHS Pantherettes and Apple-Ettes Dance Team for over 12 years. Recently, she has judged the Jr. Royalty essays and thought it would be fun to get even more involved. She is excited to work with the girls and her Jr. Royalty Chaperone partner Cindy. Kathy has been a member of the Wenatchee Valley Follies Guild since 2001 and has recently retired after 38 years of teaching. She and her husband Bruce, have 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Kathy loves being a Grammy!
Cindy Farrar - Jr. Royalty Chaperone
Cindy is excitedto return as the second year Jr. Royalty Chaperone for the Apple Blossom Festival. Cindy recently returned to Wenatchee from Seattle and is currently the treasurer for the Wenatchee Community Concert Association Board. Cindy has been on the board and volunteered for the YMCA, Wenatchee Valley Symphony and the Saddlerock Evangelical Church. She is active in her bible studies, is a mother to 3 sons and a grandmother to 5 .
Sally Feil - Apple Pie & Dessert Bake-Off/Visiting Royalty
Sally has been involved in the Festival since 2000, when she served as the Royalty Chaperone for 2000 & 2001 and was also involved in the cookbook fundraiser. Sally serves on the Apple Pie Bake-off and Visiting Royalty Committees. She and her husband, Dan are involved in running Bob Feil Boats & Motors in East Wenatchee and together they participate in East Wenatchee Rotary. She enjoys gardening in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
Daryl Ferguson - Grand Parade
Daryl has been with the Festival for 15+ years, most recently serving as Director General of the 2013 Festival. He has also served on various committees like Jewelry, Merchandise, Pre-Parade, and the Grand Parade. He has been a Festival Board Member for 2 different terms. Daryl's daughter, Lauren, was Princess in 2010. He is the Vice President and Insurance Broker for PayneWest Insurance Services; he is also an active member of the Wenatchee Rotary and the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club.
Wendy Focht - 1st Year Royalty Chaperone
Wendy Focht was born and raised in the Sunnyslope area of Wenatchee. She is a 1980 Wenatchee High School graduate. Wendy attended the Wenatchee Valley College nursing program then transferred to the University of Washington to attain her degree in Economics. Wendy was employed at Central Washington Hospital for many years and also coached in the Wenatchee School District: Wenatchee High School – Volleyball; Foothills Middle School – Volleyball and Softball. Currently, Wendy is Vice-President of the Board of Directors at Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club, as well as a volunteer for several organizations. Wendy is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian Focht Sr. they have three children: Kristen Focht-Reyes (Shilo Reyes) Brian Focht Jr., and Kelsey Focht. Wendy was blessed on June 17th of this year by becoming a Grandma to Tyler and Tyson Reyes! Wendy loves to road bicycle, hike, read, and just enjoy the Wenatchee Valley. She also is a true Dawg fan and has held season tickets for many years! The Apple Blossom Festival has been a big part of Wendy’s life and she was fortunate to be selected a Princess in the 1980 royalty. She can’t wait for the festivities to begin!
Siobhan Marie Fryhover - 2nd Year Royalty Chaperone
Siobhan is very excited to join the Apple Blossom Festival Family as a Royalty Chaperone. Siobhan was raised in Wenatchee and is a University of Washington graduate. She came back to the Wenatchee Valley to marry her high school sweetheart, Todd. Siobhan has recently retired after 29 years of work with Confluence Health. Family, friends, the outdoors, biking, golfing, dogs and church are a few of the things Siobhan loves along with helping others. Siobhan is the mother of two, Claire, who was a top ten candidate and is currently attending the University of Idaho and her son Reid, a graduate of the University of Washington.
Pat Lynn - Visiting Royalty
Pat's involvement with the Festival began in 1996 when her daughter Allison was Princess. In 1999 she served as 1st Year Chaperone and then 2nd Year Chaperone in 2000. She was also the Junior Royalty Chaperone in 2001 and served 2 years on the Board from 2004 - 2006. In 2017 Pat was named as the Co-Lehman Johnson Award winner. Pat is very actively involved in her church but spends most of her time doing what she loves...being a Grandma.
Pat McDonald - Float Decor & Design
Pat was Director General for the 2014 Festival, "Livin' the Dream". She and her husband, Jim, own Inside Design Carpet One. Pat & Jim have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2007 and Pat was a Royalty Chaperone in 2005 & 2006. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and live in East Wenatchee. Their daughter, Siobahn, was a Top 10 Candidate in 1997.
Malcolm McLellan - Legal Consultant
Malcolm has been an Apple Blossom volunteer since 1998, serving as the Festival's Legal Consultant, and serving on the Festival's Board of Directors from 1998 through 2000. Malcolm earned a BA in Economics from the University of Washington and his law degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University. Malcolm is a member of the Van Ness Feldman law firm in Seattle, Washington; previously, he was a partner with the Davis, Arneil law firm in Wenatchee. He has considerable experience representing non-profit corporations, and representing clients in the areas of energy, commercial and fisheries law.
Amy Moubray - Entertainment
Amy has been volunteering for the Festival since 2008. She is the Entertainment Co-Chairperson and has also worked on the Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Prime Seating, and Auction committees as well as other Festival week activities. Amy has a BA in Communications and a Marketing minor from WSU. She is also a very active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club, Easmont Foundation and the WSU Atheletic Foundation. Amy works in the Mortgage Dept. at Cashmere Valley Bank and in her spare time enjoysspending time with her husband Drew and their three children in their home in Wenatchee.
Jeff Neher - Art Print
Jeff is an owner in Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC and in CNC Financial Group, LLC, where he is the Managing Principal of both entities. He was the Festival Director General in 2001 and has been involved in the festival for many years beginning first with the Youth Parade, then with the Royalty Selection Pageant and Tabulation (since 1980). He is currently the Art Print Chairperson. Jeff is also very active in the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.
Roger Pollock - Golf Tournament
Roger is retired from the State of Washington Juvenile Rehabilitation where he was the Group Home Administrator for 32 years. Roger has been involved with the Festival since 1968 when he served as the chairman of the Pre-Parade. He has been a member of the Grand Parade Starting crew and appointed an Official Starter in 1984 until present! Roger has also been a board member several times; and served as the Youth Parade Chairman for 25 years, retiring from that duty in 1999, just in time to serve as the Festival Director General in 2000! Roger and his wife, Sandy have three daughters and eight grandchildren and live in Wenatchee. Their daughter Renee was Princess in 1986 and their daughter Jill was Princess in 1991.
Stacia McRae - Royalty Pageant
Stacia, a 2011 Wenatchee High School graduate attended Whitworth University and Western Governors University, obtaining a Bachelors degree in business. Since returning to Wenatchee, Stacia has been employed with Washington Trust Bank. As a Wenatchee native, Stacia has always been involved in Apple Blossom and is excited to continue her involvement in the pageant, through Wenatchee Central Lions Club. Stacia can also be found participating in local music theater.
Rosemary Wulf - Art 4 Kidz
Rosemary has been involved with the Apple Blossom Festival in some capacity for the past 10 years (at least). Usually, that entails work behind-the-scenes for the Grand Parade, Youth Parade, Youth Day, Arts & Crafts Fair, the Auction, the Beer Garden, and even as a producer for several of the Apple Blossom Musicals. Rosemary has participated with Art4Kidz for the past three years, taking over as chairperson in 2017. She and her husband, Eric, live in Wenatchee and have 2 daughters. Rosemary works as a Teacher-Librarian for the Wenatchee School District at Newbery Elementary School.
