Pat McDonald - Director General

Pat has volunteered for the Apple Blossom Festival for many years and served as a Royalty Chaperone in 2005 & 2006. Pat is the Vice President of Inside Design Carpet One where she also helps in sales and is a designer. She & her husband Jim are members of the Wenatchee Applarians. They reside in East Wenatchee and have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.  Their daughter Siobhan was a Top 10 Candidate in 1997.

David Herald - Asst. Director General

David is the General Manager/Partner for Resort Radio which is the home to KCSY FM. David graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Communications. He is a member of the Exchange Club of Wenatchee, Eagles, and he and his wife, Linda, are members of the Wenatchee Applarians. David began his involvement with the Festival in 1976. David and Linda have two sons and 4 grandchildren and live in Wenatchee.

Debbie Gurnard - Program Director

Debbie is the General Manager of Eagle Transfer Company in Wenatchee.  She has volunteered for the Festival for 25 years working on the Youth Parade, Float, Booster Pins, Arts & Crafts, Carnival, Pie & Dessert Bakeoff, Art 4 Kidz, Pageant, and Jr. Royalty committees.  She is also an active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and on the NCW Foundation for Youth Board.  Debbie has two children and five grandchildren.  She and her husband, Don, have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 1990 and Don was Director General in 2005 and Applarian Chancellor in 2010.  They live in Wenatchee.

Rolfe Ogle - Applarian Chancellor

Rolfe and his wife, Lady Pat, have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians for seven years.  He is retired and lives in East Wenatchee.  He and his wife have two children and 4 grandchildren.

Jeremy Anders- Booster Pins

Jeremy began volunteering for the Festival in 2008 and has worked on the Youth Parade & Grand Parade committees.  He is also a member of the Pageant Crew through his membership with the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and served as Pageant Emcee in 2012. Additionally, Jeremy volunteers with other "Darci Duties as Assigned" throughout the year.  Jeremy work in Marketing for the Wenatchee  Valley Super Oval and coaches Eastmont High School Girls Bowling. He is also a member of the Wenatchee Valley US Bowling Congress.  He and his wife, Shana, live in Wenatchee.

Kelly Atwood - Arts & Crafts Fair

Kelly has been involved with the Festival for almost 15 years, serving on the Youth Day, Entertainment, and Pageant committee.  She has been chairing the Arts & Crafts Fair for close to 10 years.  The Atwood Family has been a part of so many facets of the Festival from performing at Entertainment in the Park and on the Pageant stage to competing against each other in the Pie Eating Contest.  Kelly is the payroll manager for Atwood Orchards and is also employed at Material Things specializing in Sales, Design & Fabrication.  Kelly is also actively involved with the Wenatchee Schools All-District Musical and is the director of Short Shakespeareans.  She and Paul have three children and live in Wenatchee.

Ken Boyle - Hospitality

Ken is the Director of Operations for the Wenatchee Convention Center.  He has been involved with the Festival through the Center since 1995, primarily working with the Annual Auction.  Ken is also a member of the Wenatchee Downtown Association Board.  Ken has one daughter and lives in Wenatchee.

Chelsea Ewer - Youth Day

Chelsea is the Marketing Assistant for Weinstein Beverage/Pepsi Cola, the Official Beverage of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival.  Chelsea has been involved with the Festival since 2008 and coordinates Pepsi's Youth Day activities in Memorial Park.  Chelsea and her husband, Chris, live in Wenatchee.

Rob Foxx









Amber Glann

Amber is a Customer Service Rep for the Douglas County PUD.  Amber has been involved with the Festival since 2006 when she joined the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.  She has been a part of the Pageant committee since 2006 and was the Pageant Emcee in 2013 and will return as an Emcee in 2014.

Mark Lewis

Mark is the owner of Columbia Pet Service in Wenatchee.  Mark has volunteered for the Festival for over 30 years on various committees and has previously served a term on the Board.  He helped build the first stage for Entertainment in the Park and is the "go-to" guy for the girls in the office.  Mark and his wife Kathy Fortner have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 1989 and he served as "The Amazing Mark" in 2013 when Kathy was the Applarian Chancellor.

Amy Moubray - Entertainment & Pageant

Amy GensingerAmy has been volunteering for the Festival since 2008.  She is the Entertainment Chairperson and has also worked on the Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Prime Seating, and Auction committees as well as other Festival week activities.  Amy has a BA in Communications and a Marketing minor from WSU.  She is also a very active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club, Easmont Foundation and the WSU Atheletic Foundation.  Amy is the Merchant Services Specialist for Cashmere Valley Bank and in her spare time enjoys reading, spending time with family & friends and has recently found a new passion for golf.

Curt Ulrich - Pie Eating Contest

Curt UlrichCurt's involvement with the Apple Blossom Festival began in 2005 when he co-chaired the 1st annual Apple Pie Eating Contest. This year, he is again co-chairing that event. He earned his B.S. in Business from Central Washington University and is a District Compliance Manager with the Washington State Department of Revenue. Curt and his wife Cindy reside in Wenatchee with their 2 children.

Ceci Wood

Ceci is the Coordinator of Volunteer Services at Central Washington Hospital.  She received her AA from Lower Columbia College.  Ceci and her husband, Greg, have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2006 and both have been very involved in the Festival for a number of years and she will serve on the Mobile Meals Board through 2016.  Ceci and her husband Greg have three children and one grandchild and live in East Wenatchee.

Alisa Allen - Prime Parade Seating

Alisa Allen

Alisa has been involved with the Apple Blossom Festival since 1992.  She has been a Youth Parade Marshal since that time, has helped out with various other events, and is currently on the Auction Committee.  She is also on the East Wenatchee Events Board and volunteers for the United Way and Columbia Elementary School.  Alisa has an AA Degree from Wenatchee Valley College and a BS in Accounting from Central Washington University.  In her spare time, Alisa enjoys family time with her husband Bo and their three children, Hockey, and BBQ-ing/entertaining in their back yard.

Char Allen - Apple Pie & Dessert Bake-Off

Char AllenChar has been involved with the Festival since her 2 years as a Royalty Chaperone in 2001 & 2002; helping and volunteering at various events and co-chairing the very successful Cookbook fundraiser. This year, she is again co-chairing the Apple Pie Bake-Off & Cookbook. She & her husband John reside in East Wenatchee and have 3 grown children.

Deanna Bollinger - Auction

Deanna is a long time volunteer for the Festival.  Over the past 20 years, she has chaired the Auction several times, directed & designed sets for the Royalty Selection Pageant, chaired the All Service Club Luncheon, and has worked on the Golf Tournament, Youth Day, Grand Parade, Youth Parade, and set up Memorial Park.  Deanna has a BA in Public Relations from Central Washington University and is currently the Manager of Nancy's Party Rentals & Sales.  Deanna has two daughters and lives in East Wenatchee.

Chris Ewer - Entertainment

Chris is the Equipment Finance Manager for Cashmere Valley Bank.  He received his B.S.B.A. in Management & Organization from Central Washington University.  Chris has been involved with the Festival for the Festival since 2010 helping with the Pepsi Cola Youth Day and the Keyes Fibre Youth Parade.  This year he will co-chair the Entertainment Committee.  Chris and his wife Chelsea live in Wenatchee.

Sally Feil - Apple Pie & Dessert Bake-Off/Visiting Royalty

Salley FeilSally has been involved in the Festival since 2000, when she served as the Royalty Chaperone for 2000 & 2001 and was also involved in the cookbook fundraiser.  Sally serves on the Apple Pie Bake-off and Visiting Royalty Committees.  She and her husband, Dan are involved in running Bob Feil Boats & Motors in East Wenatchee and together they participate in East Wenatchee Rotary.  She enjoys gardening in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.

Daryl Ferguson - Grand Parade

Daryl has been with the Festival for 15+ years, most recently serving as Director General of the 2013 Festival.  He has also served on various committees like Jewelry, Merchandise, Pre-Parade, and the Grand Parade. He has been a Festival Board Member for 2 different terms.  Daryl's daughter, Lauren, was Princess in 2010.  He is the Vice President and Insurance Broker for Wells Fargo Insurance Services; he is also an active member of the Wenatchee Rotary and the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club.

Linda Haglund - Youth Parade

Linda Haglund

Linda has been involved with the Festival for over 12+ years and recently served as the 2009 Director General.  She has also served on many committees including Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Merchandise and Awards & Banners, just to name a few.  Linda is the Executive Director for the Wenatchee Downtown Association.   Linda serves on the Convention & Visitor Center Board and the Art on the Avenues Board.

Adele Haley - 2nd Year Royalty Chaperone

Adele most recently served as the Director General for the 2012 Festival.  She began her involvement with the Apple Blossom Festival when she served as a Princess in 1974.  Since then, she has been active with the Past Royalty Association, Royalty Selection Pageant, Grand Parade, Auction, and has volunteered at the Info Booth in Memorial Park during the Festival.  In the mid-80's, she also helped with etiquette classes for the Royalty Candidates.  Adele and her husband Pat have 3 children an one grandchild, and live in East Wenatchee.

Alex Haley - Blossoms & Brews

Alex chaired the 1st Annual Blossoms & Brews event in 2012.  The event was a huge success!  He has a BA in Marketing & Business Administration from Western Washington University and a Craft Beer Trade Certificate from Central Washington University.  Alex is the Manager of Pybus Market and also puts on the Apple Blossom Comedy Festival in April.

Linda Herald - Photographer

Linda Herald

Linda has been involved with the Festival since 1999 when she joined the Wenatchee Applarians.  She has also been the official photographer for the annual Auction since 2006.  Linda is the President of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and has helped with the Royalty Candidate Top 10 Dinner and been a part of the Pageant Stage Crew for many years.  She is also a member of the Washington Society of Association Executives.  Linda is the Director of Sales for the Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel and Wenatchee Convention Center and enjoys camping, hiking, photography, and reading.  The joys of her life are her husband, David, and three children, John, Jason and Christina, and her four grandchildren.

Lynn Love - Float Design/Construction

Lynn began her involvement with the Festival in 2008 when her daughter Emily was Apple Blossom Princess.  She has a BA and MA in Music Education and is a music teacher at Orchard Middle School.  She is also the choral director for the all women's community choir, the Appleaires.  She and her husband Kevin are members of the Wenatchee Applarians.  They have 2 daughters and live in Wenatchee.

Pat Lynn - Visiting Royalty

Pat LynnPat's involvement with the Festival began in 1996 when her daughter Allison was Princess. In 1999 she served as 1st Year Chaperone and then 2nd Year Chaperone in 2000.  She was also the Junior Royalty Chaperone in 2001 and served 2 years on the Board from 2004 - 2006.  Pat is very actively involved in her church but spends most of her time doing what she loves...being a Grandma.

Malcolm McLellan - Legal Consultant

Malcom McLellanMalcolm has been an Apple Blossom volunteer since 1998, serving as the Festival's Legal Consultant, and serving on the Festival's Board of Directors from 1998 through 2000. Malcolm earned a BA in Economics from the University of Washington and his law degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University. Malcolm is a member of the Van Ness Feldman law firm in Seattle, Washington; previously, he was a partner with the Davis, Arneil law firm in Wenatchee. He has considerable experience representing non-profit corporations, and representing clients in the areas of energy, commercial and fisheries law.

Jeff Neher - Art Print

Jeff NeherJeff is an owner in Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC and in CNC Financial Group, LLC, where he is the Managing Principal of both entities. He was the Festival Director General in 2001 and has been involved in the festival for many years beginning first with the Youth Parade, then with the Royalty Selection Pageant and Tabulation (since 1980). Jeff is also very active in the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.

Roger Pollock - Golf Tournament

Roger PollockRoger is retired from the State of Washington Juvenile Rehabilitation where he was the Group Home Administrator for 32 years. Roger has been involved with the Festival since 1971 when he served as the chairman of the Pre-Parade. He has been a member of the Grand Parade Starting crew and appointed an Official Starter in 1984 until present! Roger has also been a board member several times; and served as the Youth Parade Chairman for 25 years, retiring from that duty in 1999, just in time to serve as the Festival Director General in 2000!  Roger and his wife, Sandy have three daughters and eightgrandchildren and live in Wenatchee.  Their daughter Renee was Princess in 1986 and their daughter Jill was Princess in 1991.

Lori Reed - 1st Year Royalty Chaperone

Lori is an insurance agent at Mitchell, Reed & Schmitten Insurance Inc.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from WSU.  Lori has served on several committees for the Festival and is excited for her new position as 1st Year Royalty Chaperone.  Lori is a Past President of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and has worked backstage and onstage as an emcee since 1997.  Lori and her husband, Mike, have 3 children and live in East Wenatchee.  Their daughter, Lauren was a Top 10 Candidate in 2008 and their daughter, Christine was a Top 10 Candidate in 2012.

Shayne Rennie - Art 4 Kidz

Shayne RennieShayne is the Reading Specialist at Washington Elementary School in Wenatchee.  She received her B.A. in Elementary Education, and her Masters in Ed. as a Reading Specialist, both from Central Washington University.  Shayne has volunteered for the Festival the last 4 years as a Youth and Grand Parade Drill Team Judge.  She is also on the Auction Committee and has volunteered with the Art 4 Kidz booth.  In the past, she and the students in her class have participated in the Apple Blossom Run at the start of the parade.

June Vanderhoff - 1st Year Junior Royalty Chaperone

June is a retired Strings Teacher for the Wenatchee School District.  She received her BA in Education and her MS in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.  She became involved with the Festival in 1996 when her daughter, Jill, was Queen.  She has volunteered for the Youth Parade and the Info Booth in Memorial Park and has enjoyed supporting the Annual Apple Blossom Festival Auction. June is also an active volunteer for the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee. She and her husband, Del, have four children, five grandchildren, and 2 grandbabies on the way, and live in Wenatchee.

Claudia Wiggins - Auction/2nd Year Junior Royalty Chaperone

Claudia WigginsClaudia became involved in the Festival when her daughter Stacia, was Queen in 1997.  Since then Claudia has volunteered on the Art 4 Kidz Committee, Pie Eating Contest, and helped out in the Booth during the Festival.  Claudia has a BA in Education from the University of Washington and a MA from Central Washington University.  She and her husband, Keith, own Boswell's Furniture, and they have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and one grandchild on the way.

Ed Womack - Applarian 1st Vice Chancellor/Pageant Reception

Ed is the Owner and Veterinarian as Cascade Veterinary Clinic.  He recevied is BS in Zoology & Biology and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  He is also a member of the Central Washington Hospital Foundaiton Board, Wenatchee Big Band, and he and his wife Allison have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2006.  Ed & Allison have two children and live in Wenatchee.

Greg Wood - Float Transportation

Greg WoodGreg is in charge of Business Development and is the School Account Manager for Weinstein Beverage Company, the official Pepsi distributor of the Apple Blossom Festival.  Greg has been a member of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2006.  Greg helps deliver Pepsi products to all Festival Volunteers and enjoys every minute of it.  Greg and his wife, Ceci, have three children, Jacob, Jill, and Justine.  They enjoy golfing, camping and coaching Justine's Youth Soccer Team.

Staff

Darci Waterman - Festival Administrator

As Administrator of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, Darci is going on her 20th Festival. She earned an AA from Wenatchee Valley College, and a BS in Mass Communications from Eastern Washington University. Darci was raised in the Wenatchee Valley, and the Festival has always played a part in her life. She was the Festival Queen in 1985. In addition to her many festival duties, Darci is also involved in the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and serves on the Board of Directors for the Washington Festival and Events Assoc., the Community Foundation of NCW, the Eastmont Foundation, and Miss East Cascades.  Darci enjoys attending her boys' activities, volunteering in their schools, and working on house projects.  She resides in Wenatchee and has three sons--C.J., Cole, & Ty.

Jennifer Devereaux - Administrative Assistant

Jennifer is the Administrative Assistant at the Festival. She began her involvement with Apple Blossom when she was crowned Queen in 1990. She spent 4 years in the Seattle area attending UW and dancing for the Seattle Sonics before spending a year in DisneyWorld as a singer/dancer. In 1999, Jennifer received her teaching degree from Central Washington University and taught Theatre and English at Wenatchee High School from 2000 - 2007.  She is also a member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and the Past Royalty Association.   Her husband, Scott, is a PE Teacher and Head Football Coach at Wenatchee High School. They live in Wenatchee and have three children, Mackenzie, Jake & Kade.

Monica Greedy - Office/Events Assistant

Monica GreedyMonica has been involved with the Apple Blossom Festival since 2006 when she was a part of the Auction Committee.  Since then, she has volunteered in many aspects of the Festival and became the Office/Events Assistant in March, 2010.  Monica has two daughters and live in Wenatchee.

Jodi Lowe - Bookkeeper

Jodi LoweJodi is working part-time as the festival bookkeeper, in addition to her position at the Cashmere School District Office.  Jodi previously worked for the festival from 1996 – 2007 as an Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper. She loves being a part of this amazing organization which celebrates such a wonderful community event!  Jodi, her husband Mark and their 2 daughters, Myah & Macy, live in Cashmere.
