Mark Lewis - DIRECTOR GENERAL
Mark is the owner of Columbia Pet Service in Wenatchee. Mark has volunteered for the Festival for over 30 years on various committees and has previously served a term on the Board. He helped build the first stage for Entertainment in the Park and is the "go-to" guy for the girls in the office. Mark and his wife Kathy Fortner have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 1989 and he served as "The Amazing Mark" in 2013 when Kathy was the Applarian Chancellor.
Andy Kottkamp - Asst. Director General
Andy is a partner at Kottkamp & Yedinak, LLPC. Andy moved here in 1991 with his wife Tam and three children. He immediately became involved with the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and in turn with the Apple Blossom Festival Royalty Pageant. Andy was Emcee for this event and shortly after served on the Festival Board of Directors and Executive Committee. After completing his term Andy became involved in many other community foundations and councils. Andy has now returned to the Festival Board and is slotted to be Director General in 2018.
Deanna Bollinger - Program Director
Deanna is the owner of Nancy's Party Rentals and began volunteering with the Festival in 1992 when she started selling Festival t-shirts to all the local banks for "Festival Fridays". Since then, she has been a Director for the Pageant, Chairperson for the Auction, and volunteering on the Youth Day, Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Beer Garden, Art 4 Kidz, and Golf Tournament. She is also the "Queen of Logistics" for Memorial Park. She graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Public Relations. Deanna loves to bring fluff and foof to all our events and always does a great job!!! She has two daughters and lives in East Wenatchee.
Craig Field - Auction Co-Chair
Craig is an agent/broker at Mitchell, Reed & Schmitten Insurance. Craig has been involved with the Festival since 2007. He was Pageant Emcee in 2008 & 2009 and has continued to be a part of the Pageant Crew ever since. He has also served on the Blossoms & Brews committee and has been a Parade Marshal for many years. This year, he is in charge of Parade Marshals for the Grand Parade. Craig is a past vice president and an active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and he is also a member of the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club. Craig is a die-hard Coug and graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Risk Management and Insurance. He and his wife Trisha live in East Wenatchee and have two children.
Nannette Fishbourne - Board Member
Nannette has been volunteering for the Festival for over 15 years as a Parade Marshal for both the Youth and Grand Parades. Most recently she organizes the banners & awards for the Grand Parade and loves it!! Nannette is retired from her job in Inventory Control for Safeway, where she worked for 36 years. For 36 years, Nannette has volunteered as a Fitness Instructor for the YMCA. She and her husband, Bill, have one son and one granddaughter and live in Wenatchee,
Adele wasa 1974 Apple Blossom Princess, an Apple Blossom Board Member from 2004 -2012, and has joined our board again for the 2017 Apple Blossom Festival. Adele has not only been a board member for Apple Blossom, she was Director General in 2012, a 2013 & 2014 Chaperone, Chaired: Booster Pins, Prime Parade Seating, and the Queens Ball. Adele's service to the Festival does not stop there, she has volunteered for our Annual Auctions, Youth Parade Information Booth, and in our Apple Blossom Office. In her spare time Adele is employed by Confluence Health!
Linda has been involved with the Festival for over 12+ years and served as the 2009 Director General. She has also served on many committees including Grand Parade, Merchandise and Awards & Banners, just to name a few. For the last 6 years Linda has chaired the Youth Parade and is looking forward to her 7th year. Linda is the Executive Director for the Wenatchee Downtown Association and serves on the Convention & Visitor Center Board and the Art on the Avenues Board.
Julie was a 1974 Apple Blossom Queen. Julie's dedication to Apple Blossom dates back to her being President of The Past Royalty Association from 1995-2002. Julie was a Festival Board member from 1998-2000 and has rejoined our board this festival season. Julie has been a Junior Royalty Chaperone, chaired Booster Pins and was Director General in 2006. Julie has also been the Eastmont High School Royalty Advisor from 1996-present! Julie has one son, daughter and her daughter in - law.
Anthony McCarty - Merchandise
Anthony is employed by CMI Fruit. He is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Business & Marketing. Anthony is the President of the Wenatchee Valley Sports Foundation and an active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club. Anthony was the Pageant emcee in 2014 & 2015 and has since become the Festival merchandise chairperson. He and his wife, Megan just has their first beautiful baby girl and they all live in Wenatchee.
Danielle Ringler McKee - Board Member
Danielle recently moved back to the Wenatchee area after working in the hospitality industry in Seattle. She is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Icicle Village Resort in Leavenworth. Danielle graduated from Eastern Washington University and volunteered with the Festival in 2005-2008 on the Auction committee. She and her husband live in Wenatchee with their two children.
Julie Robinson - Board Member
Greg is in charge of Business Development and is the School Account Manager for Weinstein Beverage Company, the official Pepsi distributor of the Apple Blossom Festival. Greg has been a member of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2006. Greg helps deliver Pepsi products to all Festival Volunteers and enjoys every minute of it. Greg and his wife, Ceci, have three children, Jacob, Jill, and Justine. They enjoy golfing, camping and coaching Justine's Youth Soccer Team.
