Deanna Bollinger - Director General
Deanna is the owner of Nancy's Party Rentals and began volunteering with the Festival in 1992 when she started selling Festival t-shirts to all the local banks for "Festival Fridays". Since then, she has been a Director for the Pageant, Chairperson for the Auction, and volunteering on the Youth Day, Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Beer Garden, Art 4 Kidz, and Golf Tournament. She is also the "Queen of Logistics" for Memorial Park. She graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Public Relations. Deanna loves to bring fluff and foof to all our events and always does a great job!!! She has two daughters and lives in East Wenatchee.
Lori Reed - Assistant Director General
Lori began her insurance career as a commercial lines underwriter in 1983. She has been in sales with Mitchell, Reed & Schmitten Insurance Inc. since 1988 and currently writes all lines of insurance at the agency with a specialty in commercial and non-profit insurance. Lori enjoys learning about her customer’s businesses and designing a program that fits their needs. Lori and her husband Mike have three children, Jeff, Lauren, and Christine. Lori does a lot of volunteer work with Wenatchee Central Lions Club and the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano, yoga, mystery/suspense novels, and spending time with her 3 Yorkie puppies – Marley, Missy, and Charlie. When it’s time for vacation, you can find Lori in Cabo San Lucas with her family.
Brad Bozett - Program Director
Brad is a sales manager for Columbia Distributing in Wenatchee. Born and raised here in the Wenatchee Valley, he participated in many Apple Blossom parades dating back to 1972. One year Brad was chosen by Emmett Kelley the Clown to ride down the parade route with him. Brad married Lisa Pollock in 1989 and has been volunteering for Apple Blossom ever since. He and Lisa have two children; Chase and Carly. Brad enjoys golfing, skiing, helping others, and rooting on his beloved Seattle Mariners.
Adele Haley - 100th Festival
Adele was a 1974 Apple Blossom Princess, an Apple Blossom Board Member from 2004 -2012, and has joined our board again for the 2019 Apple Blossom Festival. Adele has not only been a board member for Apple Blossom, she was Director General in 2012, a 2013 & 2014 Chaperone, Chaired: Booster Pins, Prime Parade Seating, and the Queens Ball. Adele's service to the Festival does not stop there, she has volunteered for our Annual Auctions, Youth Parade Information Booth, and in our Apple Blossom Office. In her spare time Adele is employed by Confluence Health!
Linda Haglund - Youth Parade
Linda has been involved with the Festival for over 20 years and served as the 2009 Director General. She has also served on many committees including Grand Parade, Merchandise and Awards & Banners, just to name a few. For the last 8 years Linda has chaired the Youth Parade and is looking forward to her 9th year. Linda is the Executive Director for the Wenatchee Downtown Association and serves on the Museum Board.
Julie Kuntz - 100th Festival
Julie was a 1974 Apple Blossom Queen. Julie's dedication to Apple Blossom dates back to her being President of The Past Royalty Association from 1995-2002. Julie was a Festival Board member from 1998-2000 and has rejoined our board this festival season. Julie has been a Junior Royalty Chaperone, chaired Booster Pins and was Director General in 2006. Julie has also been the Eastmont High School Royalty Advisor from 1996-present! Julie has one son, daughter and her daughter in - law.
Alex Haley - Blossoms & Brews
Alex chaired the 1st Annual Blossoms & Brews event in 2012. The event was a huge success and in four short years has grown to four days and has become one of the Festival's most anticipated events. Alex has a BA in Marketing & Business Administration from Western Washington University and a Craft Beer Trade Certificate from Central Washington University. Alex puts on the local Comedy Festival each year.
Julie wants to live in a world filled with strong communities, books that come bundled with Toblerone chocolate bars, and a force field around her black pants that repels dog hair and sticky-fingered toddlers. Julie is employed as a project coordinator with SCJ Alliance. She is an active board member of Wenatchee Central Lions and past President of Wenatchee Valley Follies Guild. Julie co-emceed the 2017 Apple Blossom Pageant and will also emcee for 2018. She volunteers for the Youth Parade and with Solomon's Porch. She and her partner, Chris Avey, are raising three amazing and brilliant boys (she's a little biased); Kenon, Spencer and Declan. Living with all boys (even their dog is male) means Julie spends a LOT of time in the bleachers at football, basketball and soccer games. She is greatly looking forward to the vibrant spirit of community, parades, funnel cakes and, of course, all the pageantry that Apple Blossom brings!
Curt grew up in Yakima then attended Central Washington University. He has lived in Wenatchee with his wife Cindy, and two children, Cade and Courtney for twenty five years and is a District Compliance Manger for the Washington State Department of Revenue. Curt began volunteering with the festival in 2008 by Co-Chairing the Apple Pie Eating Contest now the Funnel Cake Eating Contest. Curt has also served on the Apple Blossom Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and is a Starter for the Grand Parade.
Gavin was born and raised in the Wenatchee valley. He attended college at Eastern Washington University and earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing. Gavin is now working at Martin Morris Insurance Agency focusing on employee benefits. When he isn’t working, he is golfing, spending time outdoors or playing with his chocolate lab, Mozzie. Gavin was an MC for the 2018 apple blossom pageant and is looking forward to doing it again for the 100th festival!
Siobhan Marie Fryhover
After two years of chaperoning, a daughter in top ten, two sisters in past royalty and many years of going to parades and pageants – Siobhan thought being on the Board of Directors would be a fun way to keep involved in Apple Blossom as well as community events. This past year of chaperoning, they had North 40 productions documenting their whole year gearing up for this up coming 10th year celebration. She is extremely excited to be a part of this celebration!
Siobhan was raised in Wenatchee and is a University of Washington graduate. She came back to Wenatchee to marry her junior high school sweetheart, Todd. Siobhan retired from Confluence Health with 29 plus years of working in Human Resources. Family, friends, the outdoors, biking, golfing, dogs and church are a few of the things she loves to do along with helping others. Siobhan’s 2 kids are a big part of her life as well as her large extended family.
Curt grew up in the Seattle area and spent 27 years of his career working for
the City of Kent. In July 2012 he accepted the position of Director for the
Chelan County Regional Justice Center, and filled that role until July 2018.
His wife Kathleen joined him in Wenatchee in 2015, and they both enjoy the
outdoors of the Wenatchee area. They have two adult children, their son in
Idaho and daughter in Tri-Cities. In 2013 Curt joined the Wenatchee Central
Lions Club where he almost immediately started volunteering at the Apple
Blossom Festival Pageant.
