Kelly Atwood - Arts & Crafts Fair
Kelly has been involved with the Festival for over 15 years, serving on the Youth Day, Entertainment, and Pageant committee. She has been chairing the Arts & Crafts Fair for over 10 years. The Atwood Family has been a part of so many facets of the Festival from performing at Entertainment in the Park and on the Pageant stage to competing against each other in the Pie Eating Contest. Kelly is the payroll manager for Atwood Orchards. Kelly is also actively involved with the Wenatchee Schools All-District Musical and is the director of Short Shakespeareans. She and Paul have three children and live in Wenatchee.
Rosemary Wulf - Art 4 Kidz
Rosemary has been involved with the Apple Blossom Festival in some capacity for the past 10 years (at least). Usually, that entails work behind-the-scenes for the Grand Parade, Youth Parade, Youth Day, Arts & Crafts Fair, the Auction, the Beer Garden, and even as a producer for several of the Apple Blossom Musicals. Rosemary has participated with Art4Kidz for the past three years, taking over as chairperson in 2017. She and her husband, Eric, live in Wenatchee and have 2 daughters. Rosemary works as a Teacher-Librarian for the Wenatchee School District at Newbery Elementary School.
Robin Huffaker - Applarian Chancellor
Robin was born and raised in Wenatchee and has only missed on Apple Blossom Festival!
Prior to graduating from Wenatchee High School she started her career in the dental field, retiring in 2010 and now works "full time" at the Gilded Lily.
Robin and her husband Keith (a project manager and city council member) married 25 years ago and between them they have six children and 18 plus grandchildren. You won't find them watching pro sports until one of them has a contract!
Looking for something to do within the community as a couple, they joined Applarians in 2013.
In her free time Robin enjoys walking, gardening, kayaking, camping, and travel. She is looking for to an exciting year of celebrating a 100 year young Wenatchee tradition.
Kathy Campbell - 2nd Year Jr. Royalty Chaperone
Kathy’s involvement with the Apple Blossom Festival began in the 70’s when she was in the Top 10. She has also participated in many Grand Parades since that time, as coach of the WHS Pantherettes and Apple-Ettes Dance Team for over 12 years. Recently, she has judged the Jr. Royalty essays and thought it would be fun to get even more involved. She is excited to work with the girls and her Jr. Royalty Chaperone partner Cindy. Kathy has been a member of the Wenatchee Valley Follies Guild since 2001 and has recently retired after 38 years of teaching. She and her husband Bruce, have 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Kathy loves being a Grammy!
Joy Brown - 1st Year Jr. Royalty Chaperone
For several years Joy has been one of our judges of the junior royalty essays. However, her initial involvement with Apple Blossom was in the 70s when she was in the Top 10 with co-chaperone Kathy Campbell. Joy has served the Wenatchee Valley for the past 30 years through her involvement in political campaigns, church and school committees, and various service organizations, most recently the Follies Guild. She is the quiet worker bee behind the scenes doing organizational work, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, and handling the money. She is currently the Bookkeeper/HR/Payroll Lead for Blewett Brewing Company in Leavenworth (her sons’ business). She is married to Greg Brown and has 3 sons, 2 stepdaughters, and 5 grandchildren (2 more are on the way). Her hobbies include hiking, biking, skiing, and golf.
Sally Feil - Visiting Royalty
Sally has been involved in the Festival since 2000, when she served as the Royalty Chaperone for 2000 & 2001 and was also involved in the cookbook fundraiser. Sally served on the Apple Pie Bake-off committee until it's end in 2018 and still is on the Visiting Royalty Committees. She and her husband, Dan are involved in running Bob Feil Boats & Motors in East Wenatchee and together they participate in East Wenatchee Rotary. She enjoys gardening in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
Daryl Ferguson - Grand Parade
Daryl has been with the Festival for 15+ years, most recently serving as Director General of the 2013 Festival. He has also served on various committees like Jewelry, Merchandise, Pre-Parade, and the Grand Parade. He has been a Festival Board Member for 2 different terms. Daryl's daughter, Lauren, was Princess in 2010. He is the Vice President and Insurance Broker for PayneWest Insurance Services; he is also an active member of the Wenatchee Rotary and the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club.
Wendy Focht - 2nd Year Royalty Chaperone
Wendy Focht was born and raised in the Sunnyslope area of Wenatchee. She is a 1980 Wenatchee High School graduate. Wendy attended the Wenatchee Valley College nursing program then transferred to the University of Washington to attain her degree in Economics. Wendy was employed at Central Washington Hospital for many years and also coached in the Wenatchee School District: Wenatchee High School – Volleyball; Foothills Middle School – Volleyball and Softball. Wendy is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian Focht Sr. they have three children: Kristen Focht-Reyes (Shilo Reyes) Brian Focht Jr., and Kelsey Focht. Wendy was blessed on June 17th of this year by becoming a Grandma to Tyler and Tyson Reyes! Wendy loves to road bicycle, hike, read, and just enjoy the Wenatchee Valley. She also is a true Dawg fan and has held season tickets for many years! The Apple Blossom Festival has been a big part of Wendy’s life and she was fortunate to be selected a Princess in the 1980 royalty. She can’t wait for the festivities to begin!
Allison Womack- 1st Year Royalty Chaperone
Allison was raised in Cashmere and graduated from W.S.U. with a bachelor of science in Nursing.
She and her husband, Ed, met at W.S.U. and married while he finished his degree in Veterinary Medicine. She is thankful for such a wonderful and supportive husband!
Allison's other pride and joy are her two children, Jake and Kiley and, of course, lots of pets.
She is celebrating her recent retirement as an operating room nurse for 32 years. Now she has more time to give back to the community she loves by chaperoning the royalty.
Ed and Allison are members of the Wenatchee Applarians, and they served as Applarian Chancellor and First Lady in 2015.
Allison enjoys recreating in our beautiful valley when hiking, skiing, motorcycle riding, and kokanee fishing on Lake Chelan!
She has enjoyed the years of family fun at the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival and is so excited for the 100th celebration.
Pat Lynn - Visiting Royalty
Pat's involvement with the Festival began in 1996 when her daughter Allison was Princess. In 1999 she served as 1st Year Chaperone and then 2nd Year Chaperone in 2000. She was also the Junior Royalty Chaperone in 2001 and served 2 years on the Board from 2004 - 2006. In 2017 Pat was named as the Co-Lehman Johnson Award winner. Pat is very actively involved in her church but spends most of her time doing what she loves...being a Grandma.
Pat McDonald - Float Decor & Design
Pat was Director General for the 2014 Festival, "Livin' the Dream". She and her husband, Jim, own Inside Design Carpet One. Pat & Jim have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2007 and Pat was a Royalty Chaperone in 2005 & 2006. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and live in East Wenatchee. Their daughter, Siobahn, was a Top 10 Candidate in 1997.
Malcolm McLellan - Legal Consultant
Malcolm has been an Apple Blossom volunteer since 1998, serving as the Festival's Legal Consultant, and serving on the Festival's Board of Directors from 1998 through 2000. Malcolm earned a BA in Economics from the University of Washington and his law degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University. Malcolm is a member of the Van Ness Feldman law firm in Seattle, Washington; previously, he was a partner with the Davis, Arneil law firm in Wenatchee. He has considerable experience representing non-profit corporations, and representing clients in the areas of energy, commercial and fisheries law.
Amy Moubray - Entertainment & 2019 Pageant Director
Amy has been volunteering for the Festival since 2008. She is the Entertainment Co-Chairperson and has also worked on the Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Prime Seating, and Auction committees as well as other Festival week activities. Amy has a BA in Communications and a Marketing minor from WSU. She is also a very active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club, Eastmont Foundation and the WSU Atheletic Foundation. Amy is a loan officer at Evergreen Home Loans and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her husband Drew and their three children in their home in Wenatchee.
Jeff Neher - Art Print
Jeff is an owner in Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC and in CNC Financial Group, LLC, where he is the Managing Principal of both entities. He was the Festival Director General in 2001 and has been involved in the festival for many years beginning first with the Youth Parade, then with the Royalty Selection Pageant and Tabulation (since 1980). He is currently the Art Print Chairperson. Jeff is also very active in the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.
