Lori Reed - Director General
Lori began her insurance career as a commercial lines underwriter in 1983. She has been in sales with Mitchell, Reed & Schmitten Insurance Inc. since 1988 and currently writes all lines of insurance at the agency with a specialty in commercial and non-profit insurance. Lori enjoys learning about her customer’s businesses and designing a program that fits their needs. Lori and her husband Mike have three children, Jeff, Lauren, and Christine. Lori does a lot of volunteer work with Wenatchee Central Lions Club and the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano, yoga, mystery/suspense novels, and spending time with her 3 Yorkie puppies – Marley, Missy, and Charlie. When it’s time for vacation, you can find Lori in Cabo San Lucas with her family.
Brad Bozett - Assistant Director General
Brad is a sales manager for Columbia Distributing in Wenatchee. Born and raised here in the Wenatchee Valley, he participated in many Apple Blossom parades dating back to 1972. One year Brad was chosen by Emmett Kelley the Clown to ride down the parade route with him. Brad married Lisa Pollock in 1989 and has been volunteering for Apple Blossom ever since. He and Lisa have two children; Chase and Carly. Brad enjoys golfing, skiing, helping others, and rooting on his beloved Seattle Mariners.
Linda Herald - Program Director
Stephen enjoys being a part of a team whose purpose is to make life better for its community. After arriving in Wenatchee in 1995, Stephen's first experiences with Apple Blossom Festival was as an participant in the community. Five years later, he was hired by the Wenatchee Police Department as a patrol officer and of course the Festival weekends took on a different meaning patrolling the streets of Wenatchee Avenue in wilder days! Stephen is currently a detective for the police department, but he enjoys his off duty time volunteering for various organizations in Wenatchee including the ABF during the pageant and in the beer garden during Festival week. Being a part of what makes Wenatchee a great community brings him great joy. Stephen and his wife Amy (Davenport) have been married for 21 years and they enjoy spending time together traveling, going to the movie theater and going to all the fun Apple Blossom events with their 2 granddaughters.
Siobhan Marie Fryhover
After two years of chaperoning, a daughter in top ten, two sisters in past royalty and many years of going to parades and pageants – Siobhan thought being on the Board of Directors would be a fun way to keep involved in Apple Blossom as well as community events. This past year of chaperoning, they had North 40 productions documenting their whole year gearing up for this up coming 10th year celebration. She is extremely excited to be a part of this celebration!
Siobhan was raised in Wenatchee and is a University of Washington graduate. She came back to Wenatchee to marry her junior high school sweetheart, Todd. Siobhan retired from Confluence Health with 29 plus years of working in Human Resources. Family, friends, the outdoors, biking, golfing, dogs and church are a few of the things she loves to do along with helping others. Siobhan’s 2 kids are a big part of her life as well as her large extended family.
Gavin was born and raised in the Wenatchee valley. He attended college at Eastern Washington University and earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing. Gavin is now working at Martin Morris Insurance Agency focusing on employee benefits. When he isn’t working, he is golfing, spending time outdoors or playing with his chocolate lab, Mozzie. Gavin was an MC for the 2018 apple blossom pageant and is looking forward to doing it again for the 100th festival!
Alex Haley - Blossoms & Brews
Alex chaired the 1st Annual Blossoms & Brews event in 2012. The event was a huge success and in four short years has grown to four days and has become one of the Festival's most anticipated events. Alex has a BA in Marketing & Business Administration from Western Washington University and a Craft Beer Trade Certificate from Central Washington University. Alex puts on the local Comedy Festival each year.
Susan was raised in the Wenatchee Valley and works at the Washington State Patrol. She has been a part of the Chief for a Day committee for the last 14 years. Together with Apple Blossom they were able to get this program established under the Apple Blossom umbrella. This is where she found herself getting connected to this remarkable event and community.
Susan is married to David Mullen and they have three wonderful children. Susan was on the Mission Ridge Ski Patrol for 27 years and also enjoys golfing and kayaking. She is looking forward to this experience as a new board member and making new friends.
Curt grew up in Yakima then attended Central Washington University. He has lived in Wenatchee with his wife Cindy, and two children, Cade and Courtney for twenty five years and is a District Compliance Manger for the Washington State Department of Revenue. Curt began volunteering with the festival in 2008 by Co-Chairing the Apple Pie Eating Contest now the Funnel Cake Eating Contest. Curt has also served on the Apple Blossom Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and is a Starter for the Grand Parade.
Greg has been a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley, and has grown up appreciating the Apple
Blossom Festival and what it means to this valley. He is the Food Service Manager of Weinstein
Beverage Company and Pepsi – Cola, the “Official Beverage” of the Apple Blossom Festival. You can
find him at Memorial Park and the Food Fair, during the week of the festival, making sure that the food
vendors are stocked up with plenty of Ice Cold Pepsi and other beverages. When you see him, stop and
say “Hi”. Greg and his wife, Cecilia, have been married for 27 years, and have 3 wonderful children, and
3 grandchildren, and 2 dogs. Greg and Ceci, have enjoyed volunteering for the festival in various
capacities for the past 14 years. His hobbies include golfing, camping, watching their daughters high
school sports, grandkids youth sports, and family time. “Happy Apple Blossom”!
