Char Allen - Apple Pie & Dessert Bake-Off
Char has been involved with the Festival since her 2 years as a Royalty Chaperone in 2001 & 2002; helping and volunteering at various events and co-chairing the very successful Cookbook fundraiser. This year, she is again co-chairing the Apple Pie Bake-Off & Cookbook. She & her husband John reside in East Wenatchee and have 3 grown children.
Kelly Atwood - Arts & Crafts Fair
Kelly has been involved with the Festival for over 15 years, serving on the Youth Day, Entertainment, and Pageant committee. She has been chairing the Arts & Crafts Fair for over 10 years. The Atwood Family has been a part of so many facets of the Festival from performing at Entertainment in the Park and on the Pageant stage to competing against each other in the Pie Eating Contest. Kelly is the payroll manager for Atwood Orchards and is also employed at Material Things specializing in Sales, Design & Fabrication. Kelly is also actively involved with the Wenatchee Schools All-District Musical and is the director of Short Shakespeareans. She and Paul have three children and live in Wenatchee.
Kristen Holmberg - 2nd Year Royalty Chaperone
Kristen is excited for her second year of involvement with the Apple Blossom Festival as one of the Royalty Chaperones. Kristin and her husband Erik own Holmberg dentistry which is the co-sponsor for the miss Congeniality Award.
Cindy Farrar - Jr. Royalty Chaperone
Cindy is new to the Apple Blossom Festival. She joins us as a first year Jr. Royalty Chaperone. Cindy recently returned to Wenatchee from Seattle andis currently the treasurer for the Wenatchee Community Concert Association Board. Cindy has been on the board and volunteered for the YMCA, Wenatchee Valley Symphony and the Saddlerock Evangelical Church. She isactive in her bible studies, is a mother to 3 sons and agrandmother to 5 .
Chris Ewer - Entertainment
Chris is the Equipment Finance Manager for Cashmere Valley Bank. He received his B.S.B.A. in Management & Organization from Central Washington University. Chris has been involved with the Festival for the Festival since 2010 helping with the Pepsi Cola Youth Day and the Keyes Fibre Youth Parade. This year he will co-chair the Entertainment Committee. Chris and his wife Chelsea live in Wenatchee with their beautiful baby girl.
Sally Feil - Apple Pie & Dessert Bake-Off/Visiting Royalty
Sally has been involved in the Festival since 2000, when she served as the Royalty Chaperone for 2000 & 2001 and was also involved in the cookbook fundraiser. Sally serves on the Apple Pie Bake-off and Visiting Royalty Committees. She and her husband, Dan are involved in running Bob Feil Boats & Motors in East Wenatchee and together they participate in East Wenatchee Rotary. She enjoys gardening in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
Daryl Ferguson - Grand Parade
Daryl has been with the Festival for 15+ years, most recently serving as Director General of the 2013 Festival. He has also served on various committees like Jewelry, Merchandise, Pre-Parade, and the Grand Parade. He has been a Festival Board Member for 2 different terms. Daryl's daughter, Lauren, was Princess in 2010. He is the Vice President and Insurance Broker for Wells Fargo Insurance Services; he is also an active member of the Wenatchee Rotary and the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club.
Linda Haglund - Youth Parade
Linda has been involved with the Festival for over 12+ years and served as the 2009 Director General. She has also served on many committees including Grand Parade, Merchandise and Awards & Banners, just to name a few. For the last 6 years Linda has chaired the Youth Parade and is looking forward to her 7th year. Linda is the Executive Director for the Wenatchee Downtown Association and serves on the Convention & Visitor Center Board and the Art on the Avenues Board.
Alex Haley - Blossoms & Brews
Alex chaired the 1st Annual Blossoms & Brews event in 2012. The event was a huge success and in four short years has grown to four days and has become one of the Festival's most anticipated events. Alex has a BA in Marketing & Business Administration from Western Washington University and a Craft Beer Trade Certificate from Central Washington University. Alex puts on the local Comedy Festival each year.
Siobhan Marie Fryhover - 1st Year Royalty Chaperone
Siobhan is very excited to join the Apple Blossom Festival Family as a Royalty Chaperone. Siobhan was raised in Wenatchee and is a University of Washington graduate. She came back to the Wenatchee Valley to marry her high school sweetheart, Todd. Siobhan has recently retired after 29 years of work with Confluence Health. Family, friends, the outdoors, biking, golfing, dogs and church are a few of the things Siobhan loves along with helping others.
Siobhan is the mother of two, Claire, who was a top ten candidate and is currently attending the University of Idaho and her son Reid, a graduate of the University of Washington.
Pat Lynn - Visiting Royalty
Pat's involvement with the Festival began in 1996 when her daughter Allison was Princess. In 1999 she served as 1st Year Chaperone and then 2nd Year Chaperone in 2000. She was also the Junior Royalty Chaperone in 2001 and served 2 years on the Board from 2004 - 2006. Pat is very actively involved in her church but spends most of her time doing what she loves...being a Grandma.
Pat McDonald - Float Decor & Design
Pat was Director General for the 2014 Festival, "Livin' the Dream". She and her husband, Jim, own Inside Design Carpet One. Pat & Jim have been members of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2007 and Pat was a Royalty Chaperone in 2005 & 2006. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and live in East Wenatchee. Their daughter, Siobahn, was a Top 10 Candidate in 1997.
Malcolm McLellan - Legal Consultant
Malcolm has been an Apple Blossom volunteer since 1998, serving as the Festival's Legal Consultant, and serving on the Festival's Board of Directors from 1998 through 2000. Malcolm earned a BA in Economics from the University of Washington and his law degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University. Malcolm is a member of the Van Ness Feldman law firm in Seattle, Washington; previously, he was a partner with the Davis, Arneil law firm in Wenatchee. He has considerable experience representing non-profit corporations, and representing clients in the areas of energy, commercial and fisheries law.
Amy Moubray - Entertainment
Amy has been volunteering for the Festival since 2008. She is the Entertainment Co-Chairperson and has also worked on the Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Prime Seating, and Auction committees as well as other Festival week activities. Amy has a BA in Communications and a Marketing minor from WSU. She is also a very active member of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club, Easmont Foundation and the WSU Atheletic Foundation. Amy works in the Mortgage Dept. at Cashmere Valley Bank and in her spare time enjoysspending time with her husband Drew and their three children in their home in Wenatchee.
Jeff Neher - Art Print
Jeff is an owner in Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC and in CNC Financial Group, LLC, where he is the Managing Principal of both entities. He was the Festival Director General in 2001 and has been involved in the festival for many years beginning first with the Youth Parade, then with the Royalty Selection Pageant and Tabulation (since 1980). He is currently the Art Print Chairperson. Jeff is also very active in the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.
Roger Pollock - Golf Tournament
Roger is retired from the State of Washington Juvenile Rehabilitation where he was the Group Home Administrator for 32 years. Roger has been involved with the Festival since 1971 when he served as the chairman of the Pre-Parade. He has been a member of the Grand Parade Starting crew and appointed an Official Starter in 1984 until present! Roger has also been a board member several times; and served as the Youth Parade Chairman for 25 years, retiring from that duty in 1999, just in time to serve as the Festival Director General in 2000! Roger and his wife, Sandy have three daughters and eight grandchildren and live in Wenatchee. Their daughter Renee was Princess in 1986 and their daughter Jill was Princess in 1991.
Shayne Rennie - Art 4 Kidz
Shayne is the Reading Specialist at Washington Elementary School in Wenatchee. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education, and her Masters in Ed. as a Reading Specialist, both from Central Washington University. Shayne has volunteered for the Festival for several years as a Youth and Grand Parade Drill Team Judge, Auction Committee and is currently the Art 4 Kidz Chariperson. In the past, she and the students in her class have participated in the Apple Blossom Run at the start of the parade. Shayne and her husband Dave live in Wenatchee with their sweet, new baby girl.
Meaghan Vibbert - Royalty Pageant
Meaghan became involved with the Festival in 1997 when she was crowned as Apple Blossom Princess. She is the Public Information Officer for Douglas Co. PUD. and is a graduate of Washington State University. Meaghan has served on numerous Festival committees including Youth Parade, Grand Parade, and Jr. Royalty Chaperone. She is a Past President of the Wenatchee Central Lions Club and has helped backstage at Pageant for over 10 years, including being the emcee and director. She and her husband, Todd, have two daughters and live in East Wenatchee.
Greg Wood - Float Transportation
Greg is in charge of Business Development and is the School Account Manager for Weinstein Beverage Company, the official Pepsi distributor of the Apple Blossom Festival. Greg has been a member of the Wenatchee Applarians since 2006. Greg helps deliver Pepsi products to all Festival Volunteers and enjoys every minute of it. Greg and his wife, Ceci, have three children, Jacob, Jill, and Justine. They enjoy golfing, camping and coaching Justine's Youth Soccer Team.
