Applarian Chancellor
Jacki Seale
Richard and I are honored to represent the Wenatchee Applarians and welcome you to the 107th year of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival.
I was born and raised here in the “valley”. I recall the excitement of being in my first “kids’ parade”. At the age of 10, my mother dressed me in themed attire. I was a beautiful “senorita”. I wasn’t yet aware of how important the Apple Blossom Festival was to our region. All I knew was how pretty the dress made me feel. From junior high through high school, I proudly marched, clarinet in hand, in the Grand Parade. Having spent all my school years here, the “Festival” had slowly become a huge part of my identity.
Fast forward to 2007: my husband and I joined the Wenatchee Applarians. While it was his first taste of festival life, for me it felt like coming home. Volunteering reignited something in me, and we dove wholeheartedly into the Applarians’ mission—promoting and representing the Apple Blossom Festival across the Northwest and into Canada.
After serving two three-year terms as a Board Member, I was honored to accept the responsibility of leadership. Since 1959, Applarian traditions have helped preserve the heart of this celebration. As we look ahead, my husband, Richard, and I are committed to upholding our mission while embracing the positive change that continues to shape our community.
We are proud of our festival and what it represents to our state.
Please join me this year to celebrate Everything’s Coming Up Blossoms!
