2026 Junior Royalty

The 2026 Junior Royalty will enjoy many special experiences throughout their reign. They will have formal photos taken at Parson’s Photography, tour Stemilt with the 2026 Senior Royalty, attend the Abby’s Pizza Party and Carnival Grand Opening, participate in the Tekniplex Youth Parade on Saturday, April 25, and attend the Art 4 Kidz Awards Ceremony. They will also carry the main banner in the Stemilt Grand Parade on Saturday, May 2.

Later in the year, they will ride on the Junior Royalty float in summer parades, including the Cashmere Founder’s Day Parade on June 27 and the Leavenworth Autumn Leaf Festival Parade on September 26, where they will ride on the Senior Royalty float.

Queen Elena Gomez Alvarez

Elena attends Mission View Elementary and is in Mrs. Phelps’ class. She is the daughter of Edgar Gomez and Eva Gomez and has a younger brother, Julian. Elena is involved in many activities including Math Is Cool, HiCap, Strings, Religious Education at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rec Track and Field, swimming, and learning to play the piano. Her favorite subjects in school are writing and library, and she enjoys playing in Strings and helping in the T-K class.

In her free time, Elena enjoys loom knitting, crafting, drawing, reading, gardening, fishing, and taking care of her five chickens. She also loves crafting together with her friends. Her favorite activities include bike riding on the Loop Trail and swimming. Her favorite show is the documentary series Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and her favorite song is “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars. Elena enjoys reading Alice’s Farm by Maryrose Wood. When she grows up, she hopes to become both an architect and an author. One of her favorite things to do in Wenatchee is visit the Wenatchee Public Library and have lunch at Pybus Market.

Princess Penny Ouellette

Penny attends Rock Island Elementary and is in Mrs. Rush’s class. She is the daughter of Andrew and Kelly Ouellette and has three siblings: Sylas, Shepard, and Madeline. Penny stays busy with Teen Jazz, Tap, and Ballet at Fabulous Feet Dance Studio and is also part of the HiCAP program at school. Her favorite subjects are science and math, and she especially enjoys hands on science labs.

In her free time, Penny loves reading, creating art, dancing, and learning Spanish on Duolingo. She has lots of fun with her friends shopping, doing makeovers, dancing, singing, and being silly together. Her favorite movies include Wicked and the Twilight series, and one of her favorite shows is Anne with an E. Her favorite song is “Sparks Fly” by Taylor Swift, and she enjoys reading the Nancy Drew Diaries series by Carolyn Keene. When she grows up, Penny hopes to become the President. Around Wenatchee, she enjoys hiking, riding scooters on different trails, watching Stagekids performances, and eating at El Porton.

Princess Aurora Castillo

Aurora attends Grace Academy and is in Mrs. Bautista’s class. She is the daughter of Brenda and Edwin Bautista and has four siblings: AnaIsabelle, Perla, Neymar, and Annabelle. Aurora enjoys many creative activities including piano, singing, skiing, and painting. Her favorite subject in school is language arts, and one of her favorite school activities is art.

In her free time, Aurora loves creating art, playing the piano, and singing. She enjoys spending time with her friends doing art together. Her favorite activity is skiing. Her favorite movie is The David Movie, and her favorite song is “Lemonade” by Forrest Frank. Aurora enjoys reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney. When she grows up, she hopes to become an art teacher. One of her favorite things to do in Wenatchee is go skiing at Mission Ridge.
