We love our parades! To kick off the “Opening Weekend” of Festival, we hold the Youth Parade on the first Saturday. 2027 Youth & Grand Parade Dignitary Driver

Youth Parade Date: Saturday, April 24, 2027 @ 11:00 am
Grand Parade Date: Saturday, May 1, 2027 @ 11:00 am

Serving as a dignitary driver is a unique way to volunteer with the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. Drivers provide transportation for Festival royalty, grand marshals, visiting dignitaries, special guests, and honorees.

What Is Expected of Drivers?

Drivers provide their own convertible and transport assigned guests during the parade. Parade lineup information, staging instructions, and other event details will be provided prior to the event.

Why Volunteer?

Dignitary drivers are an important part of the parade experience. It's a great opportunity to participate in the Festival, share your vehicle with the community, and help welcome special guests to one of the region's most recognized events. We appreciate the drivers who volunteer their time and vehicles each year and welcome both returning and first-time participants.

Memorial Park

Over the course of 11 days, the Apple Blossom Festival draws over 100,000 visitors. Memorial Park in particular hosts a handful of events and is the “hub” for all things Apple Blossom over the course of the 11-days. There are 3 events that really pack a punch - Food Vendors, Entertainment in the Park, our Beer Garden, and the Arts and Crafts Fair, and on the first Sunday after the Youth Parade, we hold the Pepsi-Cola Youth Day. Since 1986, Youth Day has been bringing joy to the youth of our Valley! This event continues to grow and has become one of Apple Blossom’s biggest Events with over 4,000 kids in attendance.

A delicious part of the Apple Blossom Festival is the Food Fair; over 20 booths featuring items such as tasty funnel cakes, hearty barbecue, various ethnic cuisine, crepes, ice cream, elephant ears, pizza, corn dogs and much, much more. The Food Fair runs the entire 11 days of the Festival. Entertainment runs the entire length of the Festival as well with lots of wonderful entertainment for all. Our Blossoms and Brews Beer Garden just turned 10 years old Festival 2023. The Beer Garden sells over 100 kegs of beer over the 11-days and is the best spot to watch all the entertainment on our stage. Lastly, our Arts and Crafts Fair is a 3-day event which attracts over 140 vendors and thousands of people strolling throughout Memorial Park.

2027 Gesa Credit Union Entertainment Stage

In Memorial Park, Wenatchee Washington

Event Date: April 22-May 2, 2027
Application Deadline: January 15, 2027

When Should I Apply?

We encourage all interested entertainers to apply early. Entertainment selections are typically made months in advance, and it is extremely unlikely that performers applying within a month of the Festival will be added to the lineup. This is the reason for our January 15 application deadline.

Can I Still Apply After the Deadline?

Yes. We still encourage late applications. Even after the entertainment schedule has been finalized, last-minute cancellations and scheduling changes do occur. When openings become available, we revisit our list of applicants to identify potential replacements.

Why Should I Apply If the Lineup Is Already Full?

Applying ensures that we have your contact information on file so we can notify you when applications open for future Festivals. We also maintain a list of applicants who may be considered if openings become available.

How Will I Know If I Have Been Selected?

All applicants will receive an email from darci@appleblossom.org once entertainment selections have been made. You will be notified whether or not you have been selected to perform.

Should I Contact the Festival Office to Check on My Application?

We kindly ask that applicants refrain from calling the Festival office to inquire about the status of their application. The entertainment lineup will be posted promptly once selections are finalized. If we are interested in including you in the lineup and have not received a response from you, Darci will make additional efforts to contact you directly.

2027 Memorial Park Food Fair

In Memorial Park, Wenatchee Washington

Event Date: April 22-May 2, 2027
Application Deadline: January 15, 2027

When Should I Apply?

We encourage all interested food vendors to apply early. Food vendor selections and contracts are typically finalized early in the new year, and it is extremely unlikely that vendors applying within a month of the Festival will be accepted. Early applications allow us to review menu offerings, site layouts, and overall vendor mix well in advance of the event.

Can I Still Apply After the Deadline?

Yes. We still encourage late applications. While most vendor contracts are awarded early in the year, circumstances can change and vendor openings occasionally become available. When that happens, we revisit our list of applicants to identify potential replacements.

Do You Accept New Vendors?

Absolutely. We always enjoy seeing applications from new vendors and encourage anyone interested in participating to apply. The Festival strives to provide a diverse and exciting food experience for our guests, and new ideas are always welcome.

What If Another Vendor Sells Similar Food?

One of our goals is to provide Festival guests with a wide variety of food options and experiences. As part of that effort, we try to limit unnecessary duplication of menu items among vendors whenever possible.

However, we still encourage you to apply even if you know a vendor from a previous year offered similar or identical menu items. Each year is different, and all applications are reviewed and considered. While menu offerings are an important factor in the selection process, they are not the only factor considered when evaluating applications.

How Will I Know If I Have Been Selected?

All applicants will receive communication regarding the status of their application from Darci at darci@appleblossom.org. You will be notified whether or not you have been selected. We will also announce the approved 2027 Food Vendor lineup after vendor contracts have been finalized and signed.

Should I Contact the Festival Office to Check on My Application?

We kindly ask that applicants refrain from calling the Festival office to inquire about the status of their application. Vendor selections require significant planning and coordination, and we appreciate your patience throughout the review process. If we are interested in including you as a vendor and have not received a response from you, Darci will make additional efforts to contact you directly.

2027 Arts and Crafts Fair

In Memorial Park, Wenatchee Washington

Event Date: Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2, 2027 (3-Day Fair)
April 30 & May 1: from 10:00am-7:00pm, and May 2 from 11:00am-5:00pm
Application Deadline: January 30, 2027

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Arts & Crafts Fair is one of the Festival’s most popular attractions, showcasing a thoughtfully curated selection of artisans and makers from throughout the region and beyond. Held during the final weekend of the Festival, the three-day event offers visitors the opportunity to meet the makers and explore handcrafted work they won't find in stores.

Each exhibitor is reviewed and selected with care to help create a diverse and enjoyable shopping experience. Our goal is to showcase a balanced mix of artistic styles, mediums, and products while supporting independent makers and preserving the handmade nature of the event.

To maintain the integrity of the Arts & Crafts Fair, only handmade, non-commercial, and non-imported items are permitted. All products displayed and sold must be created by the applicant.

What qualifies as handmade?

Handmade items are products that are designed, created, crafted, assembled, or significantly transformed by the artist or maker who is applying. We welcome a wide variety of artistic processes and mediums.

Can I sell commercially manufactured or imported products?

No. Commercially manufactured, mass-produced, wholesale-purchased, or imported products are not permitted in the Arts & Crafts Fair. This includes items purchased from another company or supplier and resold without substantial artistic involvement by the applicant.

What if my product includes commercially purchased components?

Many handmade products incorporate commercially available materials or components. For example, jewelry makers may use purchased beads or findings, and woodworkers may purchase raw materials. In general, the finished product must reflect your own craftsmanship and creative work.

How are vendors selected?

Applications are reviewed to ensure a high-quality and diverse mix of artisans, mediums, and product categories. Our goal is to provide Festival guests with a unique shopping experience while supporting talented makers and artists.
