3RD ANNUAL ROAD APPLE ROULETTE

The Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary, in conjunction with BNCW, will be hosting a Road Apple Roulette. Rotarians are currently selling raffle tickets for $5 each. YOU CAN PURCHASE RAFFLE TICKETS @ WENATCHEE SUNRISE ROTARY AND AT THE APPLE BLOSSOM OFFICE!
When the selected group of horses reach our designated area, the section that is hit by the first horse droppings will be deemed the winning section. We will then draw one winner from the “winning” section, and award that person the grand prize of $10,000. We will also award four $500 prizes, one for each of the other four sections.
During the parade, Rotarians that have volunteered to be the Equine Sanitation Team, will follow the horses to ensure the accuracy of the raffle and keep the parade route clean! The proceeds of the event will go to the Rotary Discover Scholars Program that supports and mentors teens that are At risk of not completing their High School education.
RULES OF THE ROAD…
5 Sections will be marked on the Grand Parade route near Memorial Park, between the red crosswalk and Chelan Ave.
When the “to be determined” group of horses reach the sections area they will be observed for the first horse droppings to hit the road.
The section that has the first horse droppings will be declared the Grand Prize eligible section.
Every raffle ticket sold for the “eligible” section will be placed into a receptacle.
One raffle ticket will be drawn for the Grand Prize of $10,000.00 (IRS taxes will be withheld).
A secondary drawing will take place for each of the four losing sections. One raffle ticket will be drawn from each losing section, and each of the four ticket holders will win $500.00.
If no horse droppings land in any of the designated sections, we will randomly draw a number from 1 to 5, and that number will determine the Grand Prize “eligible section”.
