STEMILT GRAND PARADE

SATURDAY MAY 4, 2024 @ 11AM

The cannon sounds promptly at 11:00 am on to announce the 105th Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Stemilt Grand Parade. Leading off the parade is the traditional Apple Blossom Run. Bands from throughout the Northwest join with the many colorful floats and proud-stepping equestrian units to make this one of Washington’s grandest parades. Dignitaries from many of Northwest Festivals, as well as local and state legislators join in to enjoy the Greater Wenatchee Valley at springtime.

TUNE IN LIVE ON NCWLIFE & ALSO ON LOCALTEL CH. 12 | CHARTER CH. 19 | OVER-THE-AIR 47.1

NO PRIME PARADE SEATING

The May 4th Stemilt Grand Parade Staging Area and Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast will be moved to new locations, and there will be NO PRIME PARADE SEATING (bleacher seating). The Grand Parade Staging leads, City of Wenatchee Street Management, City of Wenatchee Police Department, and Wenatchee School District officials have been meeting the past 4 months and have come up with a permanent plan for staging the Grand Parade.

1. Due to the April 1 construction of the Triangle Park softball field, the Grand Parade Staging Area will no longer be in Triangle Park. The start of the parade will be at Orondo and Fuller Streets, and Staging will take place at Wenatchee High School and on Millerdale Ave, Russell, Cherry and Miller Streets”. A map of the Grand Parade staging area and road closures will be here on the website by April 25. There will be NO CHANGES TO THE GRAND PARADE ROUTE and there are no changes to staging or the route for the Tekniplex Youth Parade on April 27th.

2. The Kiwanis Pancake breakfast will be moved to the Apple Bowl concession area due to the old concession stand being demolished.

3. And lastly, there will be NO Prime Parade Seating (bleacher seating) in the parking lot of Rec Park (baseball field).

BLEACHER SEATING DOWNTWON

We are so sad to lose our Prime Parade Seating tradition. We will have free 6-bleacher seating available, first-come-first-serve, in front of KPQ Studio on Wenatchee Ave! Featuring live parade broadcasting by Aly White with KW3.
